Lars Madsen

Lars is a former postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Queensland. He worked at the Queensland Quantum Optics Lab and the Atom Optics Lab. 

His research focused on hybrid systems of cold atoms and mechanical oscillators and near field cold atom traps. 

Lars hoped to demonstrate the cooling of a micromechanical oscillator by extending the control from cold atoms to a mechanical oscillator.
