James Bennett

James is a former research fellow at the University of Queensland under the supervision of Professor Warwick Bowen.

His research focused on hybrid atom-optomechanical devices, which use cold trapped atoms as quantum 'handles' to manipulate the behaviour of solid-state mechanical oscillators, like miniature guitar strings. James aims to obtain control over the motional states of relatively large mechanical oscillators.
